BBQ Marinated Sirloin Steak- Solomillo BBQ
by The Chef

Solomillo BBQ            Serves: 4

Notes: A marinated sirloin cooked in the grill that will rival the best steakhouses.

Directions:
Initial preparation:

Place the soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, dried minced garlic, garlic powder, basil, parsley and pepper in a blender.

Blend on high speed for 30 seconds until thoroughly mixed.

Pour marinade over the sirloin steak, cover and refrigerate for up to 6 hours. ( I use a resealable large Glad bag)

Place the steak on the grill and cook until golden brown and slightly charred, 4 to 5 minutes. Turn the steak over and continue to grill 3 to 5 minutes for medium-rare (an internal temperature of 135 degrees F), 5 to 7 minutes for medium (140 degrees F) or 8 to 10 minutes for medium-well (150 degrees F).

Ingredients:

4 Lbs. Thick cut (3") Sirloin Steak
1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Olive Oil
1/3 Cup Lemon Juice
1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
1 Teaspoon minced Garlic
1 1/2 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
3 Tablespoon dried Basil
1 1/2 Tablespoon dried Parsley
1 Teaspoon ground Pepper
